frequently asked questions
- How much do you charge for P.I. services?
- There is no easy answer for this, because every situation is unique. What we can tell you is that we charge a flat hourly rate plus actual expenses. There are no hidden charges or sign up fees. We do not charge you for the free consultation.
- How does the whole process work? Where do I start?
- The first thing to do is contact us, let us know about your situation, and together we will come up with a plan. Then, a contract between you and us is signed, and payment is taken. We begin the agreed upon work, type up the report, and give you the results with any accompanying photos and video. We can usually begin the work the same day, if the situation requires it.
- How do you catch a cheating spouse?
- Through discreet surveillance and undercover work, we can help find out if your significant other is cheating on you. We keep the investigation completely confidential unless you tell us otherwise--the subject never needs to know they were being investigated.
- What is "surveillance?"
- Surveillance is typically conducted for Infidelity Investigations, Insurance Fraud Investigations, Employee Theft Investigations, Criminal & Civil Investigations, Child Custody Investigations, and more. The subject is discreetly tracked and followed to evaluate the subject, document their daily activities, who they meet with, and much more. We have state-of-the-art equipment that allows us to obtain discreet video documentation which supplements the detailed report we provide to the client at the conclusion of the investigation.
- How long do investigations take?
- The time it takes to complete an investigation can vary. We can usually complete an infidelity investigation, for example, in about 10 to 20 work hours. We keep the hours to the minimum by keeping in contact with you, our client, to determine the best times to track the subject, for example.
- How do you "locate missing persons?
- For the purpose of locating people that just don't want to be found (such as for a debt), we have access to many databases that normal people don't have access to that assists us in locating the person needing found, including information from local utilities. We also use our expertise in sorting through many public records to assist in finding the person as well. For locating persons that are a victim of foul play, we investigate, in a similar way that police detectives do. We conduct field investigations, interviews, review evidence, etc., just like a police detective.
- Do you testify in court?
